Aluminum 2024 Circle is mainly alloyed with aluminum (90-95%), and copper (3.8-4.9%), manganese (1.2-1.8%), magnesium (1.2-1.8%), It also contains a few other elements such as silicon , iron and zinc. It offers excellent mechanical properties, including high strength, fatigue resistance and excellent mechanical properties. Its yield strength is between 250-340 MPa, tensile strength ranges from 470-590 MPa, and elongation is about 20%. It also has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking but has lower general corrosion resistance than other aluminum alloys.
