Aluminium 1050 Square Bars are composed mainly of aluminium, typically around 99.5% to 99.8%, which gives the material its excellent corrosion resistance and formability. Iron is usually present up to a maximum of 0.4%, while silicon is limited to about 0.25%. Copper is kept very low, generally up to 0.05%, as it is not a primary strengthening element in this grade. Other elements such as manganese, magnesium, chromium, and zinc are present only in trace amounts, maintaining the alloy’s high purity and excellent conductivity.
