Aluminium 5086 Square Bars are primarily composed of aluminium, typically ranging from 95.4% to 97.8%. Magnesium is the main alloying element, present at approximately 3.5% to 4.5%, providing high strength and exceptional corrosion resistance. Manganese is added in small amounts, around 0.2% to 0.7%, to enhance toughness. Chromium is present at approximately 0.05% to 0.25%, improving resistance to stress corrosion.
