Aluminium 5086 Hexagonal Bars are primarily composed of aluminium, typically ranging from about 95.4% to 97.8%. Magnesium is the main alloying element, present at approximately 3.5% to 4.5%, providing high strength and outstanding corrosion resistance. Manganese is added in small amounts, around 0.2% to 0.7%, to improve toughness. Chromium is present at approximately 0.05% to 0.25% to enhance resistance to stress corrosion.
